Coinloom Terms of Use

In short

  1. Coinloom helps you record and understand your own money. It never moves, holds or lends money.
  2. It is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and we are not registered with SEBI. Numbers are estimates from what you enter.
  3. You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for what you enter and for the people you invite.
  4. Pro and Family are sold and billed by Google Play, the App Store or the Microsoft Store. Their refund rules apply. Cancel in the store.
  5. Your rights as a consumer under Indian law stay with you. Questions: support@nvexis.com.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and J JAI AKASH, a sole proprietor trading as NVEXIS, Tiruttani, Tamil Nadu, India ("we", "us"). They cover the Coinloom apps, the website https://coinloom.nvexis.com, and everything we offer through them ("Coinloom").

By creating an account, or by using Coinloom, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Subscriptions and refunds page and the Community Rules. Together they are the whole agreement between you and us about Coinloom. If you do not agree, do not use Coinloom.

2. Who can use Coinloom

3. What Coinloom is, and what it is not

Coinloom is a record-keeping and education tool. It helps you write down, organise and understand your own income, spending, bills, goals, debts and investments, alone or with your household.

4. Your responsibilities

5. Households, shared pots, settle-up and circles

6. AI features (Money Coach and receipt scan)

7. Polls, votes and news in the app

We may show optional polls, feature votes and short news cards about Coinloom, and a list of other NVEXIS apps under Settings > More from NVEXIS. You never have to answer, and answering never gives you a reward. You can turn polls off in Settings. The Privacy Policy explains what is stored.

8. Plans, free trial and payment

9. Fair use: what you must not do

You must not:

10. What we can do if the rules are broken

If we reasonably believe you broke these Terms, the Community Rules or the law, or put other users or Coinloom at risk, we may (depending on how serious it is): warn you; remove the content; hold back or take back trials or rewards gained by abuse; limit features; or suspend or close your account. We will tell you why, unless the law or the safety of others prevents it. If you think we got it wrong, write to support@nvexis.com and we will look again. Where we close an account for a reason other than serious abuse or a legal order, we give you a chance to download your data first.

11. Intellectual property and your licence

12. Other companies' services

Coinloom uses and links to services of other companies, such as the app stores, Google and Apple sign-in, Supabase, Resend, Cloudflare, Anthropic, RevenueCat, the exchange-rate services and (if you connect it) Zerodha. Their own terms apply to their services. We choose them with care but we do not control them and are not responsible for their acts, faults or outages, except where the law makes us responsible for a processor we use.

13. Availability and changes to Coinloom

14. Warranties

We provide Coinloom with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, we give no other promise, and in particular no promise that Coinloom will meet every need you have, or that its estimates or AI answers are right for your situation. Nothing in these Terms takes away a right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other right the law does not allow us to remove.

15. Limits on our liability

  1. What we never limit. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude, and nothing stops you from approaching a consumer commission.
  2. What we are not responsible for. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for: decisions you make using Coinloom's estimates, lessons or AI answers; losses caused by records you or your household entered wrongly; anything another household or circle member does; losses caused by someone using your device, password or PIN; or indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, lost opportunities or lost interest) that were not a foreseeable result of our breach.
  3. The cap. Subject to point 1, our total liability to you for all claims about Coinloom is limited to the total amount you paid for Coinloom in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim, plus Rs 100.
  4. These limits apply only as far as the law allows. If a court or consumer commission decides that a limit cannot apply, the rest still does.

16. Indemnity

If you break these Terms or the law while using Coinloom (for example by entering another person's data without the right to, or by misusing a household or circle), and a third person makes a claim against us because of that, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs of that claim. This does not apply to anything we caused, and it never limits your rights as a consumer.

17. Ending the agreement

18. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms, for example because of new features, new laws or store rules. We change the version number and date below. For an important change we show a notice in the app at least 15 days before it applies (sooner only if a law or a security problem needs it). If you do not agree, you can stop using Coinloom, cancel your subscription in the store and delete your account before the change applies. If you keep using Coinloom after the date, the new Terms apply. A change never takes away something you have already paid for during that period.
